What's in a Name?

You may think me crazy but I 'read' through one of those 100,000 baby name books. Here is my defense, I did not want to leave any stone un-turned (any name not given some consideration) AND this may be our only pregnancy, our only child. We do not know what our complete family looks like yet but as this could be it so I wanted to truly delve into things.
Paul and I both wrote down any name that we liked, even just a little for the first round. We then looked back through our lists and removed any names we didn't have a strong positive feeling towards. Finally we ranked our lists and compared our top 10 contenders. For boys we both ended up with the same name in the #1 slot! For girls my #1 was his #3 and there were no others in the top 3 that were the same so that is what we went with.

Middle names will be family names so we were set there.

And well, the last name is a given.

We sat with those names, mulled them over, lived with them as if they were final and after a couple weeks we both still felt that those were the names.

So as of hitting the half-way mark in this pregnancy we were settled on names for the Hutchkin.

The gender along with the name will be announced after it is born, so don't bother asking.  :)

It's so funny that you posted this 'cause I was totally gonna ask about a name for a personalized gift. Guess I better think of something else . . . :)

We wouldn't be able to give you a name anyway since we aren't finding out what it is! :)

Is Jupiter Silo still in the running all these years later?

We kept the names classy. Only one apostrophe in the girls name.

Moe - that is what we call it now.
